Hi and welcome!

I’m Tatyana! An avid baker and eater from Canada. I’ve loved baking since the moment I could lick the spatula and have enjoyed it ever since.

I was trained as a traditional pastry chef, but since turning vegan some years ago, have always found a way to integrate vegan recipes into my workplaces (hehe). I’ve always found comfort in being in the kitchen. In these strange times, I hope to share that comfort through these recipes. Whether it’s with one person or one thousand.

If there’s an event, a get-together or even nothing at all, you can bet I’m bringing some baked goods. After many requests for recipes and clarifications on said recipes, I’ve finally decided to compile them into blog form to hopefully make it easier for everyone to make them! Just one large online cookbook.

What to expect


You can expect lots of dessert recipes, with the occasional savoury one. My goal is to veganize as many recipes as possible without compromising on flavour. Because the bane of my existence as a pastry chef is the phrase “it’s good for something vegan”. So rest assured that the recipes on the blog have gotten at least one, if not more, omnivore’s approval for being as good as the non-vegan version!


I hope to show people that being kinder to animals doesn’t mean living on salads and avocado mousse (although those things are delicious). You can still enjoy food! Even more than before I would argue. But that’s just my 2 cents.
